Mr. Stripey pants, tiny defender of the orchids

So I noticed spider silk on the orchids as soon as they flowered, but it took a few days to to find the spider they belonged to.

He or she is a very small (3mm total) jumping spider with excellent leg stripes.

That’s Mr.Stripey pants patrolling the stem in the 2nd photo.

The last photo is straight from the phone camera. All the close up photos were taken with an old 40mm f1.8 Konica SLR lens held in front.
